Linda graduated summa cum laude from Bentley College in 1986, and became Certified as a Public Accountant in 1990.  Linda began her career at a small MetroWest CPA firm and in 1993 established a CPA firm which offers accounting, auditing and tax services for individuals, small businesses and nonprofit organizations, which is now known as Smith, Sullivan & Brown, P.C.  Linda actively participates in audit field work and manages our nonprofit accounting, auditing and tax services.

Maureen L. Sullivan, CPA, Partner

Maureen graduated from Bentley College in 1985, began her career with BDO Seidman, and became Certified in 1989.  Maureen manages our small business and individual accounting and tax services.  Maureen joined our Firm in October 2001 and was admitted as Partner in January 2009.  She is also responsible for supervising our peer review program and ensuring that our Firm remains in compliance with industry-wide standards.

Sandy graduated from the University of Oklahoma and began her career in public accounting at Price Waterhouse.  Sandy was Certified in the State of Oklahoma, and is licensed in the States of Oklahoma and Massachusetts.  Sandy joined our Firm in August 2003 and was admitted as a Partner in January 2014. Together with Linda, Sandy supervises the nonprofit accounting, auditing and tax engagements.

Originally from the UK, Wendy received her undergraduate degree from Nottingham University in England. She received her MBA with a finance concentration from the University of Nebraska in 1993 and became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1998. Wendy’s public accounting experience began with Grant Thornton in the UK, followed by PricewaterhouseCoopers in both the UK and the US offices. We were pleased to welcome Wendy to our Firm in July 2005 as part of our nonprofit audit team.

Nina graduated from Northeastern University and became Certified in 1995.  Nina began her public accounting career with Tofias, P.C., then worked for 10 years with the firm of Alkon & Levine, P.C.  Nina joined our Firm in January 2013 and brings her extensive small business and individual tax service experience to our Firm as our Tax Manager to work with our clients on tax planning, QuickBooks consulting and tax preparation services.

Juliana joined our Firm in February 2014, bringing her vast experience to our nonprofit audit team.

Lisa graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a dual major and from Suffolk University in 2013 where she earned her Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Master of Science degree in Taxation.  Lisa has worked in public accounting since 2010, most recently with the CPA firm of Korbey, Lague & Murphy, PLLP.  In June 2016, we welcomed Lisa to our Firm, where she will be working with our tax, audit and accounting teams.  Lisa is also a CPA candidate, and is in the process of taking the CPA exam.

Jennifer graduated from Assumption College in May 2014 with a B.A. in Accounting with Fraud Emphasis and completed the Assumption’s Early Career Track MBA with Accounting Emphasis program in June 2015.  Prior to Jennifer’s college graduation, she interned with our Firm and is currently a Staff Auditor, working with our nonprofit accounting and audit team and currently is in the process of taking the CPA exam.

Sandy graduated from Bryant College in 1984 and began her career in the private sector, including the CPA firm Sansiveri, Kimball & McNamee, LLP as Controller.  Sandy joined our Firm in March 2002 as our Firm Controller, became a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor and works with our small business and nonprofit clients in the matters of accounting system set-up and consulting.

Jennifer graduated from Framingham State College in December 2003 and joined our Firm in January 2004.  In addition to small business bookkeeping support and individual, small business and nonprofit tax preparation, Jennifer formalizes all client financial reporting packages and oversees the maintenance of Firm programs which track the progress and completion of all client engagements and tax filings.  Jennifer is the liaison with our out-sourced IT company to maintain the Firm’s computer and software systems.

Debbie began her career with Lowe’s as a Regional Administrative Specialist.  Debbie joined our Firm in June 2015 managing the Firm’s administration team and manages administrative support in all areas.  Debbie is the friendly face that greets visitors at our office and assists clients to make sure that any questions are directed to the appropriate person, and she’s heavily involved in streamlining the document flow, data management and individual tax process.

Taryn graduated from Southern New Hampshire University in May 2005.  After graduation, Taryn worked at Jones & Bartlett Publishers as the Senior Sales Administrative Assistant. Taryn joined our Firm in January 2011 and performs a wide array of administrative functions that are critical to the Firm’s operations, with her main emphasis being the clerical assistance in the preparation of client financial statements, as well as the Firm’s billing process.
